As an electronic music producer and DJ, Chicago-based Arum already has several accolades under his belt. In 2014, while still in high school, Arum received first prize in Missouri's Electronic Music Composition contest. Relocating to Chicago shortly after, he won Fox & Mew's remix contest with a disco and funk-inspired remix of their song, "Make It" in 2015. Arum maintained this momentum and won A.D.A.Y.'s remix contest for his song, "Can't Have You" in 2016, hosted by Tarant Records.

Most recently and most notably, Arum won a contest organized by popular Portland-based label Phuture Collective in 2019. This contest was hosted by Phuture Collective member Too Much, and Arum won for his experimental bass song, "Bon Jovi". Arum went on a hiatus shortly after winning this contest to focus on his studies, opting to spend his free time producing and DJing under his House alias, "DOO[?]LISS". In late 2023, after finishing his studies and passing the Bar Examination, Arum has returned to produce a variety of dance genres, most notably Synthwave, House, City-Pop Edits, Bass, Retrowave, and Drum N' Bass, among others. Now, Arum is releasing a slew of singles to prep for his first-ever full-length album, ".beyond_____(ECSTACY)" in 2024.
